Since the majority of SPURS® systems are retrofitted, SPURS® also designs and manufactures custom rope guards and shaft spacers (to extend transmission shafts in smaller yachts).

SPURS® - Propeller mounted line & net cutters
These systems are meant for medium to large vessels, with propeller hubs from 300mm to 1,000+mm. Tankers, OSV’s, cruise ships, semi-submersible drilling platforms are all protected by SPURS®.
Unlike passive disk type cutters, SPURS®’ dynamic technology actively prevents AFT seal rupture, oil pollution and expensive repairs.
SPURS® fit both fixed and variable pitch propellers; and are used
with most types of propulsion systems, including azimuth thrusters. A free technical drawing is always furnished with each quotation, to optimize fit and performance. ABS approved.
